Artist, Art Therapist, & Licensed Mental Health Counselor
Welcome to
Expressive Journeys.
Originally from Atlanta, I moved to the mountains of Western North Carolina in early 2025. My path to becoming an art therapist and psychotherapist evolved very naturally for me. Early in life, I navigated healing from corrective surgeries for bilateral club feet. This is when I began to experience the healing powers of art. Art helped me express my pain, when I didn’t have the words to describe it. It helped me gain acceptance over the scars that the surgeries left on my body. Today, it continues to support me through my journey with arthritis in my ankles. This healing journey has deeply shaped my practice, allowing me to hold a space of compassion for others navigating their own physical or emotional challenges.
Since 2009, I have sat with people of all ages through their journeys of grief & loss, anxiety, depression, and pain from difficult life experiences. I pull from a variety of therapeutic styles: Experiential, Person-Centered, Family Systems, and Holistic Psychotherapy. That’s a lot of clinical verbage, ultimately, what it means is:
I would love to hear your story and see how we can work together.
