Artist, Art Therapist, & Licensed Mental Health Counselor
Welcome to
Expressive Journeys.
Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, I moved to the mountains of Western North Carolina in early 2025. My path to becoming an art therapist wasn't just a career choice, it's a calling as well as a journey that began with my own healing.
Early in life, I underwent several surgeries for bilateral club feet. That’s when I first discovered the power of art. When I didn’t have the words for the physical pain or the complicated feelings of being a young person in recovery, art helped me express myself. It helped me find a sense of peace with the scars left behind, and today, it continues to be my anchor as I navigate life with arthritis.
These experiences shaped the way I experience life and the way I show up for my clients. It allows me to hold a space of gentle compassion for others navigating their own physical or emotional challenges. Since 2009, I have sat with people of all ages through journeys of grief, anxiety, and the pain that comes with difficult life experiences.
I pull from a variety of therapeutic styles: Experiential, Person-Centered, and Holistic Psychotherapy. My approach is built on the core belief that...
You are inherently good and capable of healing.
You have the resources in your mind, body, and spirit to live a healthy and meaningful life.
Through our conversations and the process of sharing your experiences, healing moments begin to happen. We’ll work together to build healthier patterns and restore a sense of well-being that doesn't just change how you feel inside, but how you show up for yourself, your people, and the community we share.
I invite you to reach out and see if we’re a good fit for the journey ahead.
